Encyclopedia BookSelf-made paper, Tyvek (DuPont™ paper)
2025
Perhaps identity is an archive of lived experience—rewritten over time.
Made from Tyvek™—a paper that is both lightweight and durable—this garment reflects the longevity of documentation and the fragility of memory.
The design incorporates bookplate motifs, printmaking textures, and pop-up book mechanics, translating archival traces into wearable language.
The body becomes a living vessel of knowledge.
On the runway, eyes tend to focus on the front.
But the back of this piece holds just as much story.
Two custom bookplates—designed in collaboration with print artist Geng Hao—unfold through pleated structures like hidden pages, inviting viewers to read what lies beneath.
